STREAMING WITH WINAMP

Install Winamp
1.Download Winamp free from our website: www.shoutcastnet.com/download2.Install Winamp just following the installer
Install Shoutcast DSP Plugin For Winamp
1.The Shoutcast DSP plugin is an official Winamp plugin for broadcast your music2.Shoutcast DSP is included on winamp zip archive you already download from our website3.Run the installer, it will detect your installation of Winamp and automatic add the plugin
Configure The Plugin
1.The "SHOUTcast Source" gray dialog will be open all the time - it shows the current status of your stream, and lets you configure everything you need 2.The "Output" tab sets up your Shoutcast connections 3.The "Encoder" tab lets us choose an audio codec (such as MP3)4.The "Input" tab lets you broadcast live audio or MP3s played inside Winamp
1.Click the "Output" tab and select "Encoder" . Set the Encoder Type to "MP3 Encoder" and the Encoder settings to "128kbps, 44.100kHz, Stereo" 2.This means we will be broadcasting our MP3 stream at a good high quality with stereo output3.Under the "Input" tab make sure "Winamp" is selected in the dropdown box4.Select the "Output" tab again
Connect To Your Shoutcast Server
1.Go back to your "SHOUTcast Source" dialog and select the "Output" tab. Select "Output 1" from the list 2.Click the "Login" tab and type in the Server Address: Server IP, in the Port: Server Port and Password (you will have all this information after you chouse a server from our site)
3.DJ / User ID field must be emty (clear) !!!
4.You must select Use SHOUTcast v1 mode !!!
5.Go to "Directory" tab and chouse a name for your stream ex: DJ Me or Radio My etc
6.You're now ready to stream! Click the "Connect" button top-right
7.You must see the Status [0:00:00] Sent xox KiB if everthing it's ok
Play Music in Second Life and Alife Virtual
The http://yourserverip:yourserverport address should be added to a parcel of land so everyone on that land parcel will hear you play. If you own the land yourself goto "About Land". Click on the "Sound" tab and paste your music URL http://yourserverip:yourserverport into the "Music URL" field and hit enter tab. Close the dialog, and when you press play on the music player in your viewer you should hear your own stream. If you do not own land ask the Club Owner or Manager to change the URL for you.
